About PDF bookmarks

PDF bookmarks are a group of link with representative text in the Bookmarks panel in the navigation pane. Each bookmark links to a location of view or page in the PDF document.

Create a new bookmark in asp.net mvc web application

1. Open the Bookmarks panel in the navigation panel
2. Navigate to the page where you want the new bookmark to link to
3. Place your mouse on the empty area of Bookmarks panel. Right click, choose menu "Create New Bookmark"
4. A new bookmark is automatically added at the end of the current bookmarks list. Key in the new bookmark name.
5. You can select the new bookmark. Right click, and choose menu "Move Up" or "Move Down" to change the position

Edit a bookmark using asp.net mvc pdf viewer control

Using EdgePDF, you can edit an existing bookmark properties.

Rename a bookmark

Select the bookmark in the Bookmarks panel, choose "Rename" menu from the options menu, and key in the new bookmark name.

Change a bookmark's destination using asp.net mvc pdf viewer component

1. Navigate to the page where you want an existing bookmark to link to
2. Select the bookmark in the Bookmarks panel, choose "Set Destination" menu from the options menu.

Delete a bookmark in asp.net web application

Select the bookmark in the Bookmarks panel, choose "Delete" menu from the options menu.
